Benefits and uses of raw ginger

Hey guys, in today’s post I’m sharing with you all how and why I incorporate ginger into my diet and lifestyle routine.


So, if you have been here for some time, you should know, I suffer with psoriasis, resulting in my skin being very sensitive.

Suffering from numerous skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis, acne and like skin conditions, results in challenges of its own. From skin flare ups to itchy patches, the list goes on.

Ensuring that I am able to treat and care for my health is very important for my well being.

As much attention you pay to your external care, your internal care need same and even more.

From psoriasis, eczema and like skin disorders to my allergies and sinus. I use ginger to alleviate my complicated problems

How To Use Raw Ginger

I prefer my natural ingredients to stay in its raw form.

Numerous ways I incorporate ginger into my lifestyle
  • Add to my smoothie
  • Have as a tea
  • Like ginger shot, I pop few chunks in my mouth, shew and swallow
  • Tea rinse for my hair and scalp
  • Sprinkle finely chopped or grated ginger to my cooked food

Ginger to heal psoriasis

Using ginger to cure and heal psoriasis, eczema and like skin disorders.

The daily consumption of ginger became a daily antidote as my psoriasis, skin irritation, sensitivity and problems worsened.

I am 100% certain, it will become your daily antidote as well. For its evidence are backed by nature and science.

  •  Due to its high anti inflammatory and anti bacterial properties, it releases its nutritional antidote and heals health issues brought about by psoriasis, eczema, rosacea, seborrheic dermatitis and like skin conditions.
  • Psoriasis and like skin conditions are triggered by numerous health and environmental factors.
  • One of them being the slightest stress peak, and when I mean slightest, listen, stress you may not even know is apparent.

How to prepare ginger tea

Option 1

  • Grind or smash a 1-2 inch piece of ginger to a pot of water
  • Boil for 5-10 minutes and allow to steep.
  • Adding honey or agave is optional.  I have mine without sweeteners

Option 2

Have your tea as an added energy booster

  • Grind or smash a 1-2 inch piece of ginger to a pot of water
  • Boil and let steep.
  • After transferring to tea cup, squeeze 1/2 of a small lime or lemon
  • Adding honey or agave is optional. 〈 I have mine without sweeteners

Using ginger to accelerate hair growth

I use ginger as a tea rinse to maintain a healthy scalp and accelerate hair growth especially when my psoriasis is active. It works great for hair care as it heals psoriasis, seborrheic dermatitis, eczema and like skin conditions which affects the scalp.

  • It increase blood circulation which results in hair grown.
  • Due to its high level of vitamins, minerals and fatty acid it prevents hair loss by absorbing into and strengthening the hair follicles.

You all know, a healthy scalp is key to healthy hair.

How to prepare a ginger tea rinse for your hair

  • After boiling your ginger root. Allow too cool.
  • Apply your trusted essential oil/s for added benefits

  • Apply cooled mixture to a spray bottle and apply to scalp and hair.
  • Can be used as leave in or rinsed out.

Using ginger to cure sinus and allergies problems

  • As someone who suffer with horrible sinus problems, a hot cup of ginger water or tea preferably in the morning, releases and relieves my sinus drastically.

While drinking, you literally feel the congestion being drained which results in a smooth inflow and outflow of breath.

  • You can also add ginger essential oil mix with camphor essential oil to you diffuser which provides similar results.

Adding ginger to your food

Adding raw ginger chunks to your cooked food help absorb the nutrients from the food you are about to intake.


Using ginger to relieve pain

Ginger is that one in ingredient, you are guaranteed an elder will recommend you consume if you complain of any sort of pain

Ginger is a natural pain reliever. Be it joint pain or period cramps, this natural herb works wonders.


Using ginger to release gas

Oh papa!!!

Have you ever had a bad gas pain.
