WALKING YOUR OWN PATH

You should not be afraid to boldly walk your own path…

Amidst this hectic life which tend to get overwhelming at times, it’s important to stay focused on your goals…. And I stress emphasis on “your goals”.

We live in a world full of opinionated people, who sometimes tend to think if they’ve never walked that journey or don’t understand your direction, your way of life, then it’s completely senseless. Sad!!!! But so true.

Many live their lives for the acceptance of others expectancy. What family think, what friends think, even what the enemy think. REALLY !!!!

I tend to differ……I believe in believing firstly in yourself…..lead by example, be your motivator…if you don’t show people, then how would they know!!!. It’s okay to hear someone out, listen as oppose to obligating yourself in conforming to others way of life. Constructive criticism!!! yes, you should be open to it.

Maybe you’re afraid of failing at your own expense, afraid of being judged for your ideas, so you choose to live up to someone else’s expectation.

WHY!!! FOR WHAT THOUGH!!!

There’s a saying, “it’s better to fail trying, than failing to try”. Take that step now, walk your path today before it is too late.

Now, just as others, you yourself can possibly possess traits of being opinionated and judgmental. Always remember, “do unto others as you would like others do unto you”. Never be the person to pass on negativity.

Some may wish you well, others may wish the worst for you. Oh!!! what a horrible feeling to live the “what if” life thou.

In the midst of daily challenges, contradictions and adversities which may come your way, remember, you’re not alone. God promises to give us supernatural strength, wisdom and courage as we take a stand.

People will talk, they’ll have their opinions, guess what hunny!!! you cannot change that. It’s okay for people to have opinions, why prevent someone there right to freedom of expression!!!. What you can change, is how you receive and what you do with that information. My advise, use it as motivation, a driving force to turn their negatives into your positives.

And guest what, people will speak, some will come to you with the most hurtful discouraging words and actions, they will try their utmost best to deter you from your path. Toughen up sweedy, life is full of different people with different beliefs, back grounds etc. Keeping things real, I say some people just have no respect, or, maybe they don’t know better.

I believe, once you believe in you, you believe in your choices and you know for sure God has your back, which ever path you embark on in life, standing firm with faith and confidence, nothing one say or do will defeat you.

We all have a path and journey in this earthly life, it is not for another human being to understand. Some may understand and have your back, thumbs up for those who does ….. some may not, and that’s OKAY.

Which ever journey you choose to embark on in life, be it physical or spiritual, isn’t meant to be understood by any human being.

A lot of times, there’ll be people in your path who will try their best to keep you down. Sometimes you’re the last person to see the best in yourself. There’ll be people out there who see your best, your true potential and recognize the greatness you are, the gift and blessing you are to the universe. Such persons will get intimidated 👉, even jealous, by your blessings and they will attempt to suppress your uniqueness. Never allow these entities to take victory.

Never mind or pay attention to the naysayers, name slanders, ill wishers or debbie downers, for they are just obstacles placed in your path to test your faith and strength. Believe in yourself and stand strong.

naturallyfreett - WALKING YOUR OWN PATH

When your God created you, he created you in his image and likeness. He instilled everything you need to survive and reach your truest potential within yourself. It’s already there, dig deep, open up to God and it will be revealed. Never expect someone to see your vision the way you see your vision. Stay focused, meditate and keep your eyes on the prize.

You know, as long as you’re an adult who’s capable of making decisions, I believe you’re accountable for your chosen paths in life.

Starting today, at this very moment, march to the beat of your own drums. Take back your power or you can give into negativity. Become an empty vessel, a life less body, a channel for someones ideology.

Which do you choose?

In the end, you’ll be out in this world without a backbone, clueless, afraid and looking for validation where ever you can get it.

In life, we all stumble upon failure at some point, but, that’s where our opportunity to learn and grow comes in. Bravely embrace these moments.

So sweedy pie, what ever situation that is holding you back from greatness, you best, Get up, Stand firm, look in the mirror and say loud and proud “I am in control of my destiny”…… and act on that hunny…… If you don’t do it, no-one else would.

🌱 Side noteA lot of times you see persons lacking in several areas of their life (be it love, career, spirituality, accomplishments etc) transferring their ideologies just to mentally validate their existence.

My hope is, for you to find your identity and live your chosen path🙏.

  1. Thank God I have never been afraid of walking my own path. My mother always says I am dry eye…As long as I have talked to God and I am cool with my decision, I just press on without worrying what anyone thinks or says.

Correct indeed. Much thanks for stopping by.

  2. Truly appreciate this blogpost, I believe walking my own path has seen me learn a whole lot from the folks I come across on a daily basis. I would often think that if something drastic happens whilst walking my own path I usually come to some funny conclusion and I remember once a very good friend of mine told me Claudine please stop over analyzing it’s not always about you. Which made it clear that it’s simple the life lessons which have been taken way from walking one’s own path which will make you truly successful or just a complete failure. At the end of the day you’ll never know until you trying walking your own path and see where it leads you…..

Indeed. Walking your own path in life allows you to explore who you are, your likes and dislikes and it brings growth and strength. Thanks much for stopping by.

“In life, we all stumble upon failure at some point, but, that’s where our opportunity to learn and grow comes in. Bravely embrace these moments.” The word failure is daunting, however failing does something or at least it’s supposed to. It provides us with opportunities to grow (as you rightfully stated) and sometimes, understand that change is needed. It also prepares us for what’s ahead. If we had foresight, I’m pretty sure the majority of us would have tried to dodge all those failures.

I’m still learning to deal with disappointments and failures, but faith and trust are very important. “Pick yourself up, dust yourself off, strategize and proceed.” Listen to the clear and pure voice within.

    1. Well said…learning is never ending. Thanks much for stopping by ❤️

  7. What a great post! I definitely think that walking your own path is both so important but also so difficult sometimes. It’s easy to start to think about what other people think, what you feel like you should be doing, wanting to please others! I’ve actually been going through something similar to this while blogging recently. It’s so important to remember to walk your own path as long as you know it’s exactly where you’re supposed to be heading at the moment.

  8. I found my own path early on in life. I’ve always been bold and unafraid to speak my mind. I have however had trouble being afraid to not fail, but afraid to succeed. I’ve gathered myself and I decided to just do the things that scare me.

  9. Finding your own path is not always easy, but it’s simple. I’m blessed to know that I get to do what I love everyday.

  10. Yasssss!!! We were destined to walk and follow our own paths!! I keep “doing me” and scale back on what and when I share with people because some will never come to understand the path you’re meant to walk.

I’m a firm believer that if you can see the path it’s not yours. Pace your own way.

  13. Finding our own path can be so difficult to do becasue of the indoctrination many have recieved at an early age. When you travel off the path many believe you should be on then it’s hard to reconcile and not think you’re a failure. But you are absolutley right when you say not to worry about other people’s opinions.

  14. I think its natural to be concerned about what others think but sometimes you have to take opinions like a grain of salt. I have always done what makes me happy even if others dont like it. At the end of the day you have to live your life as you please. I do believe what God has for me is me!

  15. I have learned to stay in my own lane and stop focusing on other people and what they are accomplishing. Sometimes we get in our own way because of fear and if we realize is what is holding us back that is half of the battle

    1. Much thanks for stopping by, at times we sure do get in our own way.
      Stay tune for more❤️

I learned early in life to walk by faith not by sight and follow my own path.. Having that belief has served me well and gave me the ability to not listen to naysayers.

This is something that I am currently working on. I did this in College but once I came home I felt like got away from that and started paying attention to everyone else’s opinion…its years later but I am determined to get back to this place.

Your post is full of so much sage wisdom. One of my favorite sentences in your post is, “Some may wish you well, others may wish the worst for you. Oh!!! what a horrible feeling to live the “what if” life thou.”

We all have to walk the path that is set before us regardless of what judgments may come our way. Our path is our own.

    1. Indeed 👏. Much thanks for stopping by Luv❤️

  22. I think many people struggle with their identity. We all have to find our own path and not get distracted.

    1. Indeed

  23. I have always been independent, even when it got me in trouble. I began walking my own path even when it didn’t align with others and my Mom. I was/am determined to live life on my own terms. I don’t want to have regrets because I never did the thing because someone else didn’t want me to do it. My book of life is written by me, and me alone. Good or bad I own my decisions and I know that it was exactly what I wanted at the time. I can live with that.

    1. Very good !!! Stay strong luv❤️

  24. I have found walking my path to be somewhat treacherous and sometimes I feel guilty and rebellious at times too for wanting to go my own way, especially when it comes to my mother, she loves to play the guilt trip card and well in my family, I am labelled the black sheep, because I don’t listen to anyone, as I rather learn from my own mistakes and have fallen million and one times and well, I am nearly 40 years old and starting over from scratch, still walking my own path.
Thanks for this article, it truly touched me.

    1. Much thanks luv, it’s certainly my pleasure. Yes, I totally understand your feelings. It’s not always easy to start nor is it an easy journey. Always remember, walking your path doesn’t mean walking away or walking out of love or connection so there’s no need to feel guilty😉. Through experience, life is short, sudden and unexpected. Pray, pray, pray and never stop🙏
