Once again, I’m greatly appreciative of the love on my posts. This post serves as an extension from my previous post “10 THINGS I DO TO FEEL BETTER WHEN I’M FEELING DOWN, SAD and IN MY FUNKY MOOD” (click link to read).
Every now and again, life takes us on a roller coaster ride. These rides, not only alters our mood but also the way we perceive things.
It’s important we stay grounded and not allow our temporary feeling to take control and precedence of our being.
Below, I’ve listed 10 self affirmations you can chant to yourself to stay calm during these emotional roller coasters.
1. REMEMBER, YOU CANT POUR FROM AN EMPTY CUP. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
Keep that in mind.
2. FILL YOUR MIND, BODY and SOUL WITH POSITIVE THOUGHTS
I AM CALM, I AM RELAXED, I AM IN CONTROL – repeat continuously
3. I RELEASE MY NEGATIVE THOUGHTS, EMBRACING POSITIVITY AND OPTIMISM.
4. REMIND YOURSELF EVERY DAY
I AM IN CHARGE OF MY HAPPINESS. I WILL NOT ALLOW ANYONE OR ANYTHING TO CONTROL HOW I FEEL. TODAY I CHOOSE HAPPINESS
Don’t be a slave to your thoughts. Control them.
5. THINGS WILL GET BETTER, IT WOULDN’T FEEL LIKE THIS FOREVER.
6. I AM WILLING TO BELIEVE IN MY ABILITY TO BE HEALED.
7. TODAY, I LET LOVE FLOW THROUGH ME AND FILL ME.
8. I AM A WINNER. I AM WORTHY OF EVERYTHING GOOD.
9. TODAY, I LET GO OF ALL NEGATIVITY THAT REST IN MY MIND, BODY and SOUL.
10. I AM ALWAYS SAFE AND DIVINELY PROTECTED

I just wrote a whole post on #1 on my blog last Thursday. It’s true. Can’t really help anyone else when you’re running on empty yourself. I love the positive affirmation post. It’s a great to remind ourselves to stay in a positive mindset no matter what life throws at us. However, if people are finding it hard to do that, please know that there may be something else at play here and that it’s okay to seek out professional help for it meaning a therapist.
